The Spanish esports organisation Movistar Riders has made a massive decision recently to drop its entire competitive Valorant line-up. The announcement comes in a tweet showing that not a single player will be returning for 2021's Champions Tour, meaning Jose Luis "koldamenta" Aranguren Herrero, Carlos "scarx" Sánchez, Javier "dragunov" Sánchez, Vladyslav "Kiles" Shvets and Cristian "doAm" Ribeiro will all be looking for new opportunities next year.

The full post reads after translation; "Today we say goodbye to our squad of @VALORANTes, but this is not the end... Thank you very much for everything and good luck in your future projects!"

This move does seem to signify that Movistar Riders are looking to make a deeper run in competitive Valorant, as this former roster was unable to qualify for the First Strike tournament. Whether we'll see Movistar Riders pick up some bigger names over the coming weeks remains unknown, but it's surely something to keep an eye out for.
