The final LAN tournament played on Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has taken place. Following the surprise launch of Valve's sequel, the ESL Pro League Season 18 is and was the final major event to be played on the game, all before future events instead look to use Counter-Strike 2 as its base.
With this in mind, the final CS:GO champion has been named, with this honour going to Mouz, who managed to defeat Natus Vincere in Season 18 of the Pro League to both earn direct qualification to IEM Katowice 2024 and the BLAST World Final 2023 later this year. Oh, and a healthy $200,000 in prize money to boot.
This result also means that Mouz has started its Intel Grand Slam journey, something that it is competing alongside Team Vitality, ENCE, and G2 Esports to complete.
