Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat has officially started filming

The film reboot has started the road to release, as revealed by writer Greg Russo on Twitter.

The new Mortal Kombat film is being produced by Aquaman director James Wan and directed by Simon McQuoid, with the script written by Greg Russo, and now we know some more good news - it's started filming.

This was revealed by Russo on Twitter yesterday, where he posted the picture below with the following caption:

"May the Elder Gods watch over us! #ITHASBEGUN"

We should be expecting the film in early 2021, and it is promised to be every bit as violent as the games it's based on, especially since we'll be seeing fatalities on screen.

REVIEW. Written by Ricardo C. Esteves

"Mortal Kombat 11 could have been superb, but some of the design decisions Netherrealm has made are regrettable."
