Mortal Kombat 11

Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay will be shown next week

If you're eager to get a proper look at Netherrealm's next fighter then you don't have too much longer to wait.

Announced at the latest edition of The Game Awards, we still don't have much information about Mortal Kombat 11, the next entry in the hit series by Netherrealm Studios.

That's going to change soon, though, because in the past few hours, Netherrealm Studios confirmed via Twitter that next week, at the MK11 reveal event, the first gameplay will be shown (more precisely on January 17, at 7 pm GMT). At which point we'll no doubt be able to dig through a wealth of information about the studio's next visceral brawler.

Mortal Kombat 11 is expected on April 23 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

REVIEW. Written by Ricardo C. Esteves

"Mortal Kombat 11 could have been superb, but some of the design decisions Netherrealm has made are regrettable."
