Mortal Kombat 11 was just released last month, introducing us to a whole host of characters old and new, and now a new tweet from franchise co-creator Ed Boon has us hopeful that we'll be getting news on upcoming additions very soon.

"Fingers Krossed.... if all goes well, next week we will be announcing the fighters that will be joining Shang Tsung in Mortal Kombat 11's DLC," he wrote, but bear in mind that this came last week.

This will confirm whether roster leaks from the Nintendo Switch game files are true or not, but until then take everything with a pinch of salt until we have official confirmation on what's heading our way.

Those on PC also have the good news that Netherrealm is working on removing 30 FPS cap for MK11 on PC, and if you have yet to play the game at all then be sure to check out our review.

REVIEW. Written by Jonas Mäki

"It's a fine version of the game. Sadly, the controller options the Switch provides aren't great."
