Starting early next week you finally can get your hands on Monolith's latest JRPG Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (check out our review) and experience the heart-warming adventure of Rex and Pyra for yourself. As you probably know by now, the title is a Nintendo Switch exclusive, so you can continue your journey with the Blades and their Masters no matter where you go, just by taking your Switch with you.
However, if you never bought the Wii or its successor the Wii U and plan to give the latest iteration of the series a spin, there may be some hope if you wish to experience previous instalments on Switch in the future.
The developer's studio president Tetsuya Takahashi especially like the idea of playing the last game of the franchise, Xenoblade Chronicles X on his Switch, he explained to 4Gamer in a recent interview:
"Personally speaking, there are times I feel like playing Xenoblade Chronicles X and think about how nice it would be to play it on the Nintendo Switch. Of course, that will depend on demand and such, but I will think about it while discussing future plans with Nintendo."
Would you play Xenoblade Chronicles X on your Nintendo Switch, if Nintendo would port the game?
Thanks, Siliconera.
