Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Modern Warfare needs 175 GB of hard drive space on PC

The specifications have been unveiled, and it's joined Red Dead Redemption 2 in the list of games that need a large chunk of space.

For the longest time Call of Duty was seen as purely a console gaming franchise, especially with the esports scene focusing on PS4, but the PC market has become more and more important to Activision Blizzard, which is why a greater push has been made on these players with the upcoming Modern Warfare.

In fact, PC players can check out the PC specs on the Battle.net site, and as you can see below, the storage is something you'll definitely need to consider when investing:

Mininum:

Processor: Intel® Core™ i3-4340 or AMD FX-6300
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 670 / NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 or AMD Radeon™ HD 7950 - DirectX 12.0 compatible system

175GB is a massive amount, even for this day and age where games are getting more demanding in terms of memory. If you want to see the results of the efforts on PC though, and whether this storage demand is worth it, check out some PC footage below.
