The Seat Story Cup is known for being one of the most laid back, relaxed Hearthstone events, never taking itself too seriously. Even so, the professional players that compete at the event are playing for money, and this time around the winner was guaranteed $10,000.

After winning WCA Europe and DreamHack Winter 2016, you'd have been a fool to write off Louis "Mitsuhide" Bremers from the beginning. Despite not being as well known as some of the other competitors such as Thijs "Thijs" Molendijk, Dan "Frodan" Chou, or Esteban "AKAWonder" Serrano, Mitsuhide quickly proved to the others that he was a force to be reckoned with.

In the group stage, he saw off Simon "Crane333" Raunholst, Peter "Gaara" Stevanovic, and Michael "Maverick" Looze with three 3-0 shutouts on the bounce. The quarter finals saw him defeat Sebastian "Forsen" Fors, with Tugay "MrYagut" Evsan falling to his wrath in the semis.

Then came the final. In a well fought match, Mitsuhide came up against the 2015 world champon, Sebastian "Ostkaka" Engwall. He went 2-1 down, before winning two games in quick succession with Paladin to make it 3-2, giving himself the advantage. One more win and he'd be crowned champion.

Unfortunately for him, Ostkaka came back with a vengeance equipped with a dagger and utilised Rogue to take it to a 3-3. Mitsuhide took a leaf from his opponent's book though, and retaliated with a Rogue of his own to clinch the series.

Mitsuhide is one of the hottest upcoming talents, and we'll be sure to see more of him on the global stage. What was your favourite moment from the event? Let us know in the comments.
