Mighty No. 9 has a new release date
Keiji Inafune's new game will be available from next February.
The kickstarted spiritual successor to Mega Man - Mighty No. 9 was recently postponed from its original release date on September 18. It managed a very impressive $3,845,170 from 67,226 backers and there has been some discontent after the delay. Today Deep Silver and Comcept have officially unveiled the new launch date for the beautiful platformer, as it will arrive on February 9 in North America and from February 12 in Europe and around the world.
Created by Keiji Inafune and a development team of industry veterans at Comcept and Inti Creates, Mighty No. 9 is a side-scrolling action game that retains the atmosphere of the classic games 8-bit and 16-bit games, but with a modern twist.
Below, you can take a look at our recent interview with Keiji Inafune at E3 2015, where he told us more about the game.
