Metroid Prime 4 was finally announced today and will eventually be released for Nintendo Switch. That probably made most people believe that Retro Studios is back at the helm, but that's not the case.
Nintendo's Bill Trinen revealed that Metroid Prime 4 is being developed by a new group of talented individuals, but with the series' long time producer Kensuke Tanabe overseeing the project.
It was also confirmed that it will once again be a first-person shooter, so those who have feared more Metroid: Other M can finally relax.
