As you may have heard, 4A Games and Deep Silver made the decision to release Metro Exodus exclusively via the Epic Store for PC players when it launches on February 15, something that Valve wasn't too pleased about, calling the decision "unfair" on players.

This is all because the game will no longer be released on Steam except for those who have already pre-ordered it on Valve's platform or those who are willing to wait a year for the Epic exclusivity to end, since the game will be released on Steam in February of 2020. Suffice to say, this has annoyed some users, who have taken the decision to review bomb the previous two games on Steam, as reported by PCGamesN.

The Redux (remastered) versions of Metro 2033 and Last Light have dived in their Steam reviews since the announcement was made, with the former currently sitting on "mixed" following a wave of negative reviews. Last Light is suffering the same fate, and you can tell by the graph of recent reviews on both pages just how bad these reviews have been.

A lot of these reviews directly reference the Epic Store, with some players even saying they love these games but are downvoting them just because of the recent decision. That said, both of these titles will be coming to the Epic Store at some point in the future, giving them a new platform.

Do you feel as strongly as these reviewers?
