Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is launching in August
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will finally be playable on something that isn't a PS3.
As if calling the first collection of remastered Metal Gear Solid games Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 wasn't enough, Konami has on several occasions hinted that we probably wouldn't have to wait long for more. But which games would it include? Fortunately, the answer is what most of us hoped for.
Because Konami has revealed that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 will include Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (the PS3 HD Collection version) and Metal Gear: Ghost Babel when it launches on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 the 27th of August.
The big headliner here is obviously MGS4, as we've heard time and time again that the game was utilising the PS3's cell processor to such a degree that it seemed impossible to bring it to other platforms. This makes me wonder how this version will run, especially when one of the first collection's biggest problems is the technical side. Let's stay positive, and believe it'll be very good.
