Mercury Steam is working on a sci-fi game

A few months back the developer Mercury Steam posted a teaser image on its official website. In the last week, however, the entire site has been replaced with a teaser for the studio's new sci-fi game.

The untitled game is about "exploring new worlds, fighting strange creatures, and discovering new heroes". Which, as teasers for games go, is about as vague as it gets. The teaser site contains information about an expedition, a crew in hibernation, and an unsubtle reference to the alien's ship AI 'Mother'. This is all accompanied by a countdown to April 15, presumably the date of the game's reveal.
