Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team partners with SteelSeries and AMD

The Formula 1 team's esports division adds two more partners to its ranks.

Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team, the esports division for the Formula 1 team has partnered with both SteelSeries and AMD.

SteelSeries joins the team as the official peripherals supplier of the team, in a deal that will see the pair work together on a variety of product testing, events, and brand and marketing initiatives, as The Esports Observer reports. SteelSeries is also slated to be creating a line of limited peripherals for the Mercedes-AMG Petronas team. The financials of the deal were not revealed.

The esports team is also partnering with AMD, in a deal that will see the team equipped with the latest hardware, as Racing Life reports. This deal is expected to see AMD contribute hardware to the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Esports Team training facility that will launch later this year, in Brackley, UK. The financials of this deal were also not disclosed.
