EA's online store and game service Origin occasionally gives games away for free, no strings attached, as part of a campaign called "On the House". The next game to be given that treament is the venerable Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault, the publisher has revealed.

Pacific Assault originally came out in 2004, and has you fighting through several battles in the Pacific scenario of World War II, including Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, and Tarawa.

Exactly when the game goes "On the House" isn't clear yet - the Origen website just says "coming soon" - but when it does, only the singleplayer portion of the game will be available. Pacific Assault had multiplayer when it launched, but that part of the game relied on the services of GameSpy, who shut down in 2014.
