Massive happy with difficult of Division 2's Dark Hours raid

They won't be tweaking the difficulty, although they are working on some sort of matchmaking after this was absent at launch.

The Division 2's new raid with Operation Dark Hours is meant to provide a significant challenge, hence the capacity for eight players, and while it has been completed by some elite operatives, there are many unable to complete it. That doesn't mean that Massive will be dropping the difficulty, however.

The team has talked about the raid during a recent stream (as reported by VG247), and here community developer Chris Gansler addressed rumblings on the matter:

"We've heard rumours about us changing the raid difficulty... there are currently no plans to change that. We know the raid is harder on consoles, but we are happy with where we're at."

What's more is that a recent Special Report confirmed that matchmaking is absent from Dark Hours to encourage meaningful communication between teams, but they are working on a "dedicated solution" to change this.

REVIEW. Written by Eirik Hyldbakk Furu

"A couple of faults don't detract from the fact that The Division 2 is one of, if not the, best looter-shooters in years."
