Masahiro Sakurai showing "something" at Nintendo's E3 Direct
What could it be?
On Tuesday June 12 at 17:00 BST (18:00 CEST) the Nintendo Direct E3 2018 will take place, and although up until now we only knew Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo Switch and Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu! Let's Go Eevee! would be there, we now know there's another familiar face making an appearance.
Super Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai confirmed on Twitter his presence on the E3 Direct. "Of course, I will introduce something. Such a long time, after a long absence ....", he wrote. As he said, it's been a long time since he showed up in these broadcasts, and the last time we saw him was in 2015, presenting Bayonetta and other DLC characters for Super Smash Bros. 4.
