Marvel is being sued over Werewolf by Night artwork

The special streaming movie Werewolf by Night served as an intriguing introduction to a darker part of the MCU. Marvel comics can pack in all sorts of adventures, heroes, and villains, from space-faring epics to terrifying tales, there's still a lot for the MCU to unpack.

However, this dip into the monsters of the MCU might have landed Marvel in some hot water, as a new lawsuit claims that the company used work by artist Darius Alas without his permission in creating a poster for Werewolf by Night.

As you can see, the two images are rather similar (Marvel's is on the left, the artist's is on the right). Not exact copies, but it looks like the art equivalent of explaining a piece of text in your own words to avoid copyright infringement. We'll have to wait and see if anything comes of this.
