Mario Kart 8 is getting 3 Mercedes for free, check out the trailer

Plus, Mercedes specific tournament at month's end.

Nintendo and Mercedes have just revealed that Mario Kart 8 is getting three Mercedes cars via free DLC. That's the new Mercedes-Benz GLA, the 50's 300 SL Roadster and the 30's Silver Arrow. The first one will include a special set of wheels, but all can be customised with other features.

Nintendo and Mercedes are also holding an online Mercedes Tournament worldwide on Wii U. The competition starts at August 27th and ends September 23th - you'll need the game and the Mercedes free DLC to enter.
