Maingear and Razer have teamed up to come up with the Maingear R1 Razer Edition, which is described as "a desktop designed from the ground up to offer the best gaming experience possible" while also looking unique in its design.
Configurations won't be cheap though. The stock starts a $999 (USD), but superstock models jump to $3,599 for the Z170 or $4,099 for X99. Both of these high-end models have custom liquid cooling setup with nickel plated metal tubing, as well as green coolant which can be changed to a custom colour option.
The X99 comes with a an NZXT H440 Razer Edition chassis as well as a MSI X99A Raider motherboard and Intel Core i7-6800K processor. 16GB of HyperX Fury DDR4-2666 RAM also come with the desktop, as does the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, 1TB Seagate HDD (7,200 RPM), 8X DVD burner and 750W EVGA SuperNova power supply.
Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan said "the feature-set and craftsmanship of the R1 Razer Edition leave it in a class of its own today, and the customisable design leaves the door wide open for untold enhancements well into the future."
Although this is impressive in itself, better upgrades can still be added to it, which would push the cost up significantly.
