Mafia II demo hits August 10th

A 360 and PS3 demo of 2K Czech's mob shooter in the making will touch down on August 10, 2K have confirmed. The demo arrives ahead of the full game's release on August 24th in the US and August 27th "everywhere that's not the US."

Also revealed was that the PC release of Mafia II is to be fully Steamworks compatible, meaning it can take advantage of the service's auto-updating features, as well as Steam achievements, statistics and downloadable content. You'll also get a free copy of the original if you pre-order it from Steam - clearly those chaps at Valve are as excited about the game as we are.
