Luminosity Gaming has decided to drop its PUBG: Battlegrounds team, releasing its four active players and its coach. It's unclear what this means for Luminosty's place in the world of competitive PUBG, as the organisation has yet to affirm intention to sign a replacement roster.
What we do know is that this decision means that Lawrence "Trevor" Meredith, Lachlan "Fludd" Thompson, Austin "M1ME" Scherff, Noah "Relo" Jenkins, and coach Jake "Snakers" Winant are now free agents and able to sign elsewhere.
Considering the team most recently finished eighth in the PUBG Global Championship in 2023, they will no doubt be quite a hot commodity among the competitive scene.
