After weeks of competition, the 2022 Valorant Champions tournament has come to an end. Bringing the best teams in the world to Istanbul, all to compete for a share of a $1 million prize pool and for the right to be known as the best Valorant team in the world for this year.

And now that that event has concluded, we can report on who the winning organisation was, and who is now regarded as the team to beat in the competitive Valorant scene. For 2022, it was Brazil's LOUD who came out on top, and won the tournament after defeating OpTic Gaming 3-1 in the grand finals. This result has seen LOUD heading home with $300,000 in prize money.

As for what's next for the Valorant Champions Tour, Riot Games has already outlined the plans for the 2023 season, and even announced when competitive play will return - although that will be in around four months time.
