The Los Angeles Valiant Overwatch League team has been undergoing a rebuild over the past couple of weeks, as it prepares for the 2022 season, which will use a 5v5 format and will be played on an early version of Overwatch 2. Ahead of the new season, the Valiant dropped its former roster, and has been slowly announcing new members ever since, with the latest of the bunch being Tong "ColdEst" Xiaodong.

Previously a member of the Hangzhou Spark, ColdEst comes to the Valiant to serve as the organisation's flex support star, and also marks the first player that the team has announced the signing of who isn't a DPS player.

While there's no mention just yet as to who will be playing alongside ColdEst in the support role, we do know that the Valiant has lined up Weida "Diya" Lu, Seok-hyun "Innovation" Oh, and Il-ha "Becky" Kim to serve as the roster's damage core.

With a few months until the season starts and the Valiant still lacking quite a few members, we can expect to hear some more announcements over the coming days and weeks.
