The second Major of the 2022 Call of Duty League season has officially concluded. Taking place over the weekend, the best CDL teams were competing for a cash prize and also crucial CDL Points that will become important at the end of the season.
After a chaotic weekend of games, the winner has been decided, and surprisingly it has seen the Los Angeles Guerrillas go almost undefeated throughout the entire Major and take the title as champion for themselves.
It's quite surprising to see as the LA Guerrillas finished the first stage of the CDL with a 2-2 record and then failed to win a match during the first Major. Jump to the second Major qualifiers, and LA managed to claim a spot in the Winners Round but was instantly knocked down into the Elimination Round by the Boston Breach. From here however, the Guerrillas didn't lose a game and ran through each team they faced, including the 2021 CDL Champions Atlanta Faze.
As for what is next for the CDL, the qualifiers for the third Major will start in early May, but until then, we do have the All-Star Weekend to look forward to this coming weekend.
