The Kickstarter Campaign for Lord British's Shroud of the Avatar: Forsaken Virtues has passed its Kickstarter target, after attracting over $1million is pledges from the crowd-funding community.
Richard Garriott, the designer behind the Ultima franchise, took to Kickstarter less than two weeks ago to raise funds for his next game. The Shroud of the Avatar is to be the first instalment in the new franchise, and since it's been funded we can now look forward to seeing some more stretch goals being added to the anticipated title's Kickstarter campaign.
