Logitech to acquire Streamlabs

The tech manufacturer has picked up the livestreaming software company for a minimum of $89 million.

Gaming hardware giant Logitech has recently announced their acquisition of livestreaming software company, Streamlabs. Announced in a press release by Logitech themselves, the merging of the two brands is looking "serve even more game streamers around the world with better experiences."

"Logitech's acquisition of Streamlabs adds software and tools for live streamers to our already rich gaming offering" said Ujesh Desai, general manager and vice president of Logitech G. "Their products complement our existing portfolio and allow us to serve even more game streamers around the world with better experiences."

The deal is agreed to be worth a minimum of $89 million and may even increase by $29 million should Streamlabs reach a specified revenue growth target as stated in the press release by Logitech.

"Streamlabs and Logitech both share a strong passion for gaming and a dedication to serving the global community of gamers and streamers" said Ali Moiz, Streamlabs chief executive officer. "Joining with Logitech allows us to keep doing what we love and be bolder than ever on a much bigger stage."
