The tease in the last trailer wasn't exactly subtle.
A few weeks ago we got an accolades trailer for Little Nightmares that seemed to tease an expansion at the very end, and it seems as if our theories weren't unfounded, as Tarsier Studios has now listed "Secrets of The Maw Expansion Pass" on the PlayStation Store. It appears that we won't just get a single expansion either, as the description states:
"Unveil all the secrets of The Maw in a parallel escape story where you play as the Runaway Kid, another prisoner looking for a way out of this place of misfortune. On his journey, The Kid will explore The Depths, The Hideway and another hidden part of The Maw offering a different perspective on Six's adventures as well as new challenges to overcome. Get Little Nightmares Secrets of The Maw and enjoy these additional stories as they become available to download."
Stories in plural, eh? The new adventures with the tiny boy from the teaser will apparently just be the beginning, and we definitely like the idea of more Little Nightmares. Unfortunately we don't know the release date, however, so stay tuned for more on that.
Would you like to see the expansion take a direction similar to the base game, or a totally different vibe altogether?
