Square Enix has just confirmed that fans waiting for Life is Strange to land on Android can pre-register for Dontnod's emotionally-charged coming of age drama right now.

The latest version of the game will hit the mobile platform with both controller support and touchscreen controls, as well as a new photo mode that "allows you to take pictures like never before, modify them with filters and easily share them."

Those who play mobile games on Android-powered devices need to make sure their mobiles can handle the game, with the listing detailing the following specs: "Only support devices running Android 6.0 and support OpenGL 3.1. Requires ARM 64 and a minimum of 2 GB of RAM."

Dontnod is currently working on a sequel to the game, and a prequel mini-series with the subtitle "Before the Storm" wrapped up earlier this year. The studio is also about to release its next game, Vampyr, which is heading to PC, PS4, and Xbox One tomorrow. Stay tuned to Gamereactor for more on that soon.

REVIEW. Written by Bengt Lemne

"At the end of a very turbulent week in Arcadia Bay we have to say that this is a game that anyone who appreciates this sort of episodic adventure owes it to themselves to try."
