For some time now rumours have circulated about Diablo III being ported to the Nintendo Switch, but despite Blizzard evading these rumours, we've just heard more to add fuel to the fire, coming from ResetEra. According to some reports, Forbes published a detailed article dedicated to what was called Diablo III: Eternal Collection for Nintendo Switch, which apparently will be officially revealed today.
The Forbes article was immediately removed, but thanks to attentive ResetEra users we discovered that the game will arrive on Switch by the end of the year, and that the collection will contain the original contents of the game, including the Reaper of Souls and Necromancer expansions. What's more is we'll also get all additional content from other platforms, not to mention extras dedicated to The Legend of Zelda, including the Legend of Ganondorf armor, the Tri-Force avatar frame, and the Echoes of the Mask wings.
In addition, Diablo III for Switch will also support local co-op for four players with a single console and online multiplayer, in addition to saves via the Cloud. At the moment, these are the only details we know, but we hope to get more details today.
