While many of the regions only get one ticket to the international First Stand Tournament, planned for Sao Paulo, Brazil between March 16-22, the Korean LCK and the Chinese LPL get two slots each, due to past prior success of both regions on an international stage.
It's because of this that while yesterday's LCK Cup did have a clear winner, both the finalists will be appearing at the First Stand Tournament. So while Gen.G Esports did prove to be too much for FearX, overcoming the team in a 3-0 finale, both squads will be representing Korea at the coming event.
The finale was also a rather familiar affair, as it was a rematch from the Upper Bracket Finale, which Gen.G also won in a convincing 3-1 fashion as well.
