Lamborghini will be hosting an event in a few weeks, where it is expected to reveal its first hybrid super sports car. But ahead of that date, the automobile manufacturer has unveiled two new cars that it is releasing, both of which are designed to mark and celebrate the end of the V12 era.

The first car is known as the Invencible and is a coupé, whereas the second is called the Auténtica and is a roadster. Both are said to be styled off and paying tribute to a variety of Lamborghini's cars, including that of the Sesto Elemento, Reventón, and the Veneno.

As you would expect for cars that pay tribute to the V12 era, each car has been created using the V12 platform, and is the final time Lamborghini will fit a car with a 12-cylinder 6.5-litre engine. Each vehicle also has a seven-speed gearbox, four-wheel drive, and has enough power under the hood to deliver 720 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm.

Take a look at both of the captivating cars below.
