The Summer season just got that much more exciting for football fans as Konami has announced a new esports competition, known as the eFootball.Pro Cup, which is set to commence July 18. The online tournament played within eFootball PES 2020 will see 10 world-renowned teams compete for a share of a sizable €250,000 prize pool.

The competition kicks off July 18 with a Group Stage, which will see clubs play four matches each in a round-robin format. Those that prove successful here will move onto the Semi-finals July 31, where two matches will be played in a home and away format. The Finals will, of course, follow and will be played in a single match to determine which team will walk away with the most sizable share of the prize pool.

  • FC Barcelona

  • Manchester United FC

  • FC Bayern

  • Juventus
