Konami Castlevania collection releasing May 16

This is another entry in their 50th anniversary series of packages, which includes Arcade Classics and Contra as well.

Last month developer Konami revealed their Anniversary Collection series marking their 50th anniversary, with the Arcade Classics package landing today. Now the PlayStation Blog has revealed details on the Castlevania collection, landing on May 16.

Despite the announcement coming on the PlayStation Blog it's safe to assume the collection will also release on the same date for PC, Switch, and Xbox One as previously announced. The blog also gives us the news that Castlevania Bloodlines, Kid Dracula, Castlevania the Adventure, and Castlevania II: Simon's Quest will be joining the collection alongside Castlevania, Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, Castlevania II Belmont's Revenge, and Super Castlevania IV.

Rounding off the series will be the Contra collection, which we presume will release in the middle of June if this release schedule is anything to go by.
