Hideo Kojima, the mind behind Metal Gear Solid, has only increased the anticipation for his latest game Death Stranding by claiming it could be his "best work so far".

At yesterday's Develop conference Kojima said "so far, when I've been making games, I've had to give up on something or at least compromise on something in order to get things done".

He went on to say that working with Mark Cerny has allowed him to "get around that", continuing to say he is "very confident that we're working towards something completely new and that no-one has seen so far. This will be my best work so far, I'm very confident about that".

A release date for Death Stranding has not been announced yet but it is sure to be a big talking point for the foreseeable future. You can see the PS4 exclusive's E3 trailer below.
