Kingdom Come: Deliverance was released a few weeks ago, and while it showed a lot of promise, this was marred by the game being released with a ton of bugs and issues that needed a whopping patch to address, which developers Warhorse Studios have now publicly recognised.

"I freely admit though that I wish we had more time to polish the game before the release, that's what AAA game deserves," executive producer Martin Klima writes in a Q&A post on the official forums, also adding that he doesn't consider Kingdom Come: Deliverance as a standard AAA game. In his opinion it's an indie at heart, but with the visuals and production values of an AAA game.

Another thing that separates Kingdom Come: Deliverance from a typical AAA game is that, according to Klima, their game isn't made as forgiving as standard AAA games. "You have all those different markers, prompts and handy hints that you never have to think about what to do next," he writes.
