Killing Floor 2 gets spooky new Monster Ball map
And Road Redemption smashes into Tripwire's co-op shooter as a crossover.
Tripwire Interactive has just announced an update for Killing Floor 2, and true to form it's called the Halloween Horrors: Monster Masquerade, and it's live right now and it's said to be the biggest update of the year.
The content drop features a brand new map called Monster Ball which is available to use in Weekly, Survival, Versus Survival, and Endless Action. New weapons such as FN-FAL ACOG Rifle, the HM-501 grenade rifle, and MKB 42 (for players who complete Monster Ball objectives) are also getting thrown into the meat grinder. Finally, of course, it wouldn't be a Tripwire update without some Halloween-themed models and effects for both the characters and Zeds alike.
For Killing Floor 2 players who happen to own Road Redemption in their Steam library, a new melee weapon will also be added to their arsenal, in form of a spiked baseball bat (great for the Berserker). And vice versa, Road Redemption will have Hans Volter and DJ Skully as new riders in the game.
