The newly released fighting game from Spike Chunsoft and publisher Bandai Namco, Jump Force, could be getting its first DLC content in May of this year. The game, which is a mash-up title with characters and settings from the immensely popular manga collective magazine Shonen Jump, launched on February 15 to mixed reviews (even though our reviewer thoroughly enjoyed playing the game) and seems to be expanding starting this spring, with nine new characters coming to the game in total.
The news comes from a series of Japanese magazine leaks, as reported by Dualshockers and the leaks state that the first wave will be added starting May, both as part of the season pass and separately. Take it with a pinch of salt until officially confirmed, but if you're looking forward to more names joining the roster, it sounds like May will be the month you're waiting on.
