There's more news popping up regarding the upcoming movie adaptation of Ubisoft's blockbuster game, The Division. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Jessica Chastain is in talks to join the film's cast.
Chastain is a two-time Academy Award nominee and got her mainstream breakthrough when she starred in the lead role of Zero Dark Thirty, a film chronicling the hunt for Osama Bin Laden. That performance got her an Oscar nod, as did her part in The Help the year before. She played the stern mission captain Lewis in The Martian, and will star in the gun-rights drama Miss Sloane later this year.
If she indeed ends up joining the cast for The Division, she'll be playing opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, who is currently the only actor attached to the project. Gyllenhaal is also co-producing the film.
