Itagaki angry over DoA Lisa's new skin tone
"This is a crime against the entire world."
Lisa Hamilton is an African-American video game character who joined the Dead or Alive series during Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball, and was later added as a fighter in Dead or Alive 4.
But as most of you probably know, there was some major beef between key people at Team Ninja (headed by Itagaki) and Tecmo, which led to various departures. The new staff at Team Ninja, for some reason. didn't appreciate the darker skin tone of Lisa and has changed to something that almost can be described as caucasian.
This has made Tomonobu Itagaki furious, and he posted the picture below on Facebook and writes:
"This is a CRIME against the entire world.
IT'S TOTALLY A DISCRIMINATION BY COLOR.
Who on earth is she?
Who the hell forced our beloved Lisa to change her skin color?
Again.
IT'S TOTALLY A DISCRIMINATION BY COLOR."
He continues in the comments section, stating:
"Morons who don't know the entertainment always bring fatal disaster. That's why I hate moron developers."
He also accuses Team Ninja of being racist, writing:
"This criminal pic was rendered by OBVIOUS DISCRIMINATORY
intention. As u know im pro."
