It looks like Google Maps is due to get its own AI chatbot
Code hidden in its latest beta might have let the cat out of the bag.

It looks like Google might soon be rolling out an AI chatbot feature to Google Maps.
Android Authority has reported that code found within the app's latest beta version makes various references to in-app conversations, including "you're talking with a chatbot."
It's unclear how Google Maps users will be able to interact with this chatbot, but it's speculated that it could be related to submitting reviews and comments. An unearthed line of code that reads "thank you for your contribution" suggests that this might be the case.
