It's been three months since Rockstar gave us a new trailer revealing more about Red Dead Redemption 2, and since then many have speculated that we'd get a new one in August. To that end, and we might be reading something into nothing here, it seems like Rockstar is planning on making an announcement at some point in the near future.
That's because Tom Caswell and several others have noticed posters for Red Dead Redemption 2 have started appearing in New York City. The posters in question show some of the game's characters and carry the caption "Outlaws for Life", so there's not much in terms of new information here, but why would Rockstar and Take-Two put them up at this particular moment in time?
It's worth noting that certain in-game pre-order bonuses are set to expire on August 15, which means Rockstar could well try and whip up some interest before the deadline hits. On top of that, we've also been hearing rumblings of a new gameplay trailer coming in "early- to mid-August" for some time now.
The first three trailers were published on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so it might be worth putting your ear to the proverbial tracks as you might hear the hype train closing in very soon. Or not, as the case may be.
What would you like to see or hear about next from Red Dead Redemption 2?
