New Super Mario Bros. U was one of the launch games for Nintendo's previous console, the Wii U, but according to some rumours we might be seeing the 2D platformer landing on Nintendo Switch as well.
In fact, it has long been said that the game could make its appearance on Nintendo's hybrid console, and to further fuel the rumors there are some details coming to us courtesy of Comic Book that claim there will be re-release of New Super Mario Bros. U, accompanied by Super Luigi U.
This news comes from alleged Nintendo sources, who apparently say that this edition will also have new content and will be called New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. Take this with a pinch of salt, since obviously it's unconfirmed, but it's not unfeasible considering other games like Mario Kart 8 and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker have also made the move.
