It appears as though Ghost Gaming is shelving its plans for domination in the world of Call of Duty with the whole team seemingly dismissed despite a 12th place finish in last month's World League Championships.
The news comes via Christopher "Parasite" Duarte, who revealed that the team was looking for another organisation to step in and support the team moving forward, although at the same time he noted that the players are all available as free agents.
"F/A thank you Ghost for everything I wish them the best of luck with their future endeavors away from CoD. We are either looking for another org or are all separately free agents," he wrote on Twitter.
Adam "GodRx" Brown also confirmed that he had parted company with Ghost Gaming, despite that fact that the team had stabilised as a reliable mid-table outfit. Like his teammate, Brown is keeping his options open as he looks to "come back stronger than ever".
Duarte also noted that Ghost Gaming is pulling out of competitive Call of Duty altogether, although according to Dot Esports, director of operations Lee Massie was unable to comment on the matter when questioned.
