Earlier this year Iron Man VR was revealed exclusively for PSVR (we even previewed it earlier this year), and now Camouflaj and Sony have revealed that the full product will be releasing on February 28 next year.
The new story trailer above celebrates the announcement, which gives us a sense of the original story revolving around Tony Stark. Lead writer Brendan Murphy says that the team "approached our big story moments with humor, heart, and suspense—attributes that map perfectly with Tony Stark. Given the fact that the game is built from the ground up for VR, we doubled down on the storytelling strengths of virtual reality".
Dialogue is utilised for this, and there are times when you won't be in the armour either. Creative director of Marvel Games Bill Rosemann also helped with the plot, and Marvel writer Christos Gage also added some life to the script too.
Ghost will be the villain of this narrative, who "holds a mirror up to him. As a witness to the damage caused by Stark-made weapons years earlier, Ghost's fight against Iron Man is both ideological and personal".
We also get word on the various editions of the game as well, with the Standard Edition landing alongside the Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the game, four Armour Decos (Golden Avengers, Black Centurion, Sun Stinger, and Stealth Armour, all pictured below), as well as 12 Research Points, letting you develop new weapons and augments. The Digital Deluxe Soundtrack is also included, as well as a PS4 theme.
That's not all though, as we have information on pre-order bonuses as well, with pre-orders allowing access to four Armour Decos (Origin Armour, Vintage Armour, Silver Centurion Armour, and Ultraviolet Armour, again pictured below), alongside a dynamic PS4 theme.
Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store also get a free month trial to Marvel Unlimited, letting you read some comics that may or may not feature Iron Man himself.
Are you getting this?
