The tactical shooter from New World Interactive, Insurgency, is leaving Steam Early Access and is set to be released in full on January 22. The title, which has a keen focus on team-based tactics and hugging cover will be supported with continuing updates and future DLC.
"We've gained tremendous feedback from our community during early access, and in the process have grown accustomed to providing frequent updates to the game based on user experience," said game director Jeremy Blum in a statement.
The game was built using Valve's Source engine, features 32-player multiplayer and 6-player co-op, and will be available on PC, Mac and Linux.
