Inside Xbox - a new show for Xbox fans
With a name identical to an old show.
Microsoft are preparing to communicate more directly with Xbox fans with a new live show hosted by the likes of Microsoft representatives like Larry Hryb, Graeme Boyd, Jeff Rubenstein, Alex Hebert or Lydia Ellery. Streamed in 4K/UHD resolution for those with a supported device, Inside Xbox will come monthly to Mixer.com, YouTube.com, Twitch.TV, and Facebook.com.
Inside Xbox is "a premier live news broadcast that will highlight breaking announcements and a peek behind the curtain of Team Xbox. A glimpse at the mysteries of game design and a celebration of some of the month's most exciting games and features". The show will be open to the public with the hashtag #insidexbox on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. User content and comments will be highlighted and there are options to win prizes and giveaways, especially for those connecting Mixer and Microsoft accounts.
For those with a good memory Inside Xbox should ring a bell as there was previously a Microsoft-back show that you'd find on your Xbox dashboard. The UK produced Inside Xbox show with Andy Farrant and Dan Maher was cancelled back in 2012 and we later got an independent successor Outside Xbox.
The first episode of the new Inside Xbox will air on March 10, at 8:00 PM GMT (21:00 CET).
