The official Twitter account for Netherrealm Studios' Injustice 2 has revealed that the Pro Series esports competition is returning for a second season, which is perfect timing considering the Legendary Edition of the game has just been released.
The short video on Twitter explains how the tournament will work, as does the information on Injustice's esports site. Competitors from North America, South America, and Europe will fight it out at several big events throughout the summer until the top 16 remain, these being the top 12 players through the season as well as four independent competition winners. A $100,000 USD prize pool will be at stake, so there's everything to play for, especially at the international events.
The Pro League, presented By Samsung and Simple Mobile, gets underway next month at the Combo Breaker event, and for more information on registering and competing, check out the official website. Do you think Injustice 2 is up there with the best fighting games in terms of esports?
