Evil Geniuses has announced that it is going separate ways with its League of Legends Championship Series top laner, Jeong "Impact" Eon-young. As said over Twitter, the team will be parting ways with Impact ahead of the 2023 season, ending a near two-year long tenure with the organisation.

"The goat. The legend. @Impact. Thank you for the last two years—your hard work has been vital in lifting the LCS trophy and going to Worlds. We hope you keep the Top Die dream alive on your path forward, and always remember: Once an Evil Genius, always an Evil Genius."

As for what's next for Impact or Evil Geniuses remains to be seen, but no doubt Impact will find himself on a new team soon enough, and likewise it shouldn't be too long before EG announces his replacement.
