Racist remarks from Hulk Hogan has been revealed on released audio tapes recorded nearly eight years ago, which has led to action from WWE.

As a result the organisation has cut all ties with him and removed Hogan from everything WWE-related, from the website to programming and everything else. Something that reportedly has cost WWE $50 million.

Even us gamers can see the effects of this, as since yesterday the Hulk Hogan DLC has been removed from WWE 2K15 and can no longer be bought. There is still one way to get him though, and that is by purchasing the Path of the Warrior DLC where one incarnation of Hulk Hogan is included due to being a part of the Ultimate Warrior storyline.

Hulk Hogan was the face of last years edition of the WWE 2K series and got his own collectors edition and his own DLC with many different Hogan incarnations. Now it's highly doubtful that we'll ever see Hulk Hogan in the WWE again and this was most likely the last time we saw Hogan in a WWE game. While Hogan has apologised publicly for his words, the damage has ultimately been done.

REVIEW. Written by Jonas Mäki

"This is a game that will certainly entertain the biggest WWE fans (to some extent), but if you're not one of them there is absolutely no reason to take a closer look."
